Sunderland boss Steve Bruce will be careful with the return of Fraizer Campbell.
Campbell resumed training last week after 15 months out with knee ligament damage, and his return would be just the boost Bruce is looking for.
"Fraizer is three months ahead of schedule," Bruce told the Sunday Sun. "To shave three months off his comeback time is a bit special.
"And it isn't as if he has pushed himself too unreasonably, he's been watched and monitored, he has just been a very quick healer.
"His running is incredibly fluid, he is a natural athlete and looking at him training you wouldn't have thought he had been out at all. But no matter how good he looks I have to keep reminding myself that he has come back from a very, very serious injury and we have to look after him.
"There's no question of us rushing him back."
