Sunderland boss Steve Bruce admits he's facing a storm on Wearside after a slow start to the season.
They were held 0-0 at Swansea City yesterday.
Bruce is facing the problems head on and said: "We must win a match and have Chelsea at home next. Can we get a result against them and get off and running again?
"When you make so many changes, you always need time. I know we are very, very close to having a really decent squad.
"We must calm the storm, because there's always a storm in the North East when you lose a derby game.
"We're three games in, two of them were away and we haven't been beaten in those so it isn't blistering but it's not that bad.
"But when you haven't scored or you've lost a derby, people become anxious. And that's when you make the wrong decisions."
