Sunderland manager Steve Bruce insists he wants to bring Birmingham City winger Sebastian Larsson to the club this summer.
The Swede is likely to leave St Andrew's as a free agent at the end of the season and Bruce has made no secret that he is a fan of his talents.
Bruce took Larsson to Birmingham from Arsenal back in 2007 and reports suggest that he is looking to team up with him, this time at the Stadium of Light.
However, Bruce will have to compete with the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Blackburn Rovers for the signature of the Sweden international.
