Sunderland boss Steve Bruce admits injury concerns for Lorik Cana after their defeat to Chelsea last night.
Bruce's disappointment was compounded by injuries to new central midfield partnership Lee Cattermole and Cana ahead of Saturday's home clash with Blackburn.
Cattermole hurt his back in a challenge, while Cana is due to have X-rays in the morning on a damaged hand.
Bruce said: "Lorik Cana has got X-rays in the morning. He's got a bang on his hand and it could be broken. We hope not."
