Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is happy to have Michael Turner available.

Turner's Sunderland career stalled after a serious knee injury.

Bruce said: "It has been a long, hard road back for Michael, but he is ready for the ­challenge.

"He has worked ­incredibly hard to get fit and we just hope that, mentally, he is over what was a very ­serious injury."
