Former Manchester United captain Steve Bruce admits he was concerned seeing Wayne Rooney breakdown on Tuesday night.

Bruce, now manager of Sunderland, told how he was worried sick when Rooney crashed to the ground in Munich.

He said: "The one thing we want is Wayne playing for England so we can all cheer him and the team on during the summer holidays."
