Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has no doubts Antonio Valencia will have a long career at Manchester United.
Bruce signed Valencia permanently while in charge of Wigan Athletic.
The former United captain said: "If you look at him he is a great age with 100 games under his belt. The big question was, could he make the step up to Manchester United and I think he has proved that he was ready."
