Sunderland boss Bruce confirms Leeds talks for McCartney

Leeds United are moving for Sunderland defender George McCartney.

After their Carling Cup defeat to West Ham United, Sunderland boss Steve Bruce confirmed that the club are in talks with Leeds over a possible loan move to Elland Road for Northern Ireland international full-back McCartney.

McCartney has proved his fitness in recent weeks with Sunderland's reserve-team.
