Sunderland boss Steve Bruce admits finding a replacement for Aston Villa's £24 million striker Darren Bent is a summer priority.
He will be working overtime in the close season to unearth a worthy successor to Bent who hit 36 goals in 63 league and cup games for the club.
Bruce said: "It will be hard to replace someone with Darren's goalscoring record, but that's the challenge.
"We need someone to partner Asamoah Gyan. We've got Fraizer Campbell and we'll see what the Danny Welbeck situation is at the end of the season with Manchester United."
