Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce is delighted with their deal for Dame N'Doye.
Allardyce says the arrival of new loan signing N'Doye will ease the goalscoring burden on striker Jermain Defoe.
"I don't think you can have enough forwards in your squad especially if they're hungry to get on the pitch and show what they can do," he said.
"Dame has scored goals and we want somebody in the squad to score more goals, we need to share them about, we can't just rely on Jermain Defoe."
