Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce says Jordi Gomez can leave this month.
Gomez has been a bit-part player since Allardyce arrived, starting only three games under the new boss.
“Jordi Gomez is not playing as often as he would like so I think, yes, he could move on," said Allardyce.
“There'd be no problem with us if Jordi wanted to find more regular first team football - we both agree in that department, so that would be the right thing to do for both of us."
