Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce was quickly back to his disciplinarian ways on Tuesday.
The newly-appointed Black Cats boss hit Daily Mirror reporter Simon Bird with a £10 fine after his phone, acting as a dictaphone, buzzed twice during the press conference.
Upon the completion of the presser, Allardyce reportedly reminded the Mirror's north east reporter to promptly pay the fine. The Mirror says that the 'tenner is in the post'.
The penalty will go towards Sunderland's 'Foundation of Light' charity.
