Sunderland are chasing PSV Eindhoven attacker Jürgen Locadia.

Eindhoven Dagbladet says Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat is a big fan of Locadia and wants to bring him to England this week.

Locadia is at odds with PSV coach Phillip Cocu and was dropped for the clash SC Heerenveen.

Despite the drama, Advocaat hasn't lost faith in the youngster's ability and hopes to sign the Dutchman in the coming days.

Sunderland could make a formal approach to PSV to open talks about a fee for Locadia today.
