Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat isn't getting carried away after victory over Southampton.
Advocaat had thought that a tally of 35 or 36 points would be enough to secure Premier League survival, but with relegation rivals Leicester City, Aston Villa and Hull City all picking up wins over the last eight days, he has readjusted his forecast.
And he now believes Sunderland will need a minimum of four points from their remaining four games.
He said: "I said (prior to last week's draw at Stoke) if we get six or seven points, it would be enough - but I don't think it will be, unfortunately!
"We have taken seven points from five games, and there are still four more games to go.
"Everything is still in our own hands, that is the most important thing."
