Wolves captain Danny Batth is a target for Sunderland.
The Express & Star says Sunderland are looking to firm up their interest in Wolves captain Danny Batth, now their top-flight safety is secure.
Batth, rated at £6 million, is currently sidelined with a fractured foot and won't be fit again until well into pre-season, but that isn't deterring the Black Cats.
The 24-year-old from Brierley Hill remains on their radar despite them not having a manager, with Dick Advocaat retiring last month.
