Sunderland bid for QPR striker Blackstock

Sunderland boss Roy Keane is lining up a £2 million bid for QPR striker Dexter Blackstock.

The Mirror says Blackstock scored 14 goals last term to keep Rangers in the Championship after a £500,000 move from Southampton in August 2006.

But Rangers, set to be taken over by F1 tycoons Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone, plan to offer the 21-year-old a new deal.
