Sunderland are battling to keep AC Milan attacker Keisuke Honda in Europe.

The Japan international is ready to leave Milan in January and unlikely to be blocked by the Rossonero.

TMW says Honda has solid interest from three clubs - LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders and Sunderland.

Black Cats boss David Moyes has long been an admirer of Honda and knows he could land the attacker for next-to-nothing next month.

The attacker is understood to be still eager to prove himself in Europe, despite a difficult 2016 in Italy.
