Sunderland striker Martyn Waghorn says he'll return from his loan with Leicester City a better player.
Waghorn - a product of Sunderland's youth system - is due to return to the Stadium of Light at the end of May and is planning to force his way into the first-team squad next season.
"It's great to play in pressure games and I've played in some tough ones this season," Waghorn told his club's website.
"Every game is difficult in the Championship, especially when you go to places like Newcastle away.
"It's been a huge learning curve for me and hopefully I can push on at Sunderland next season.
"I struggled for the first few games when I was coming off the bench, but after that I got my chance and have scored some goals.
"I've been pretty much the main striker so it's been good. I came out on loan to get experience and I feel I've done that while getting a few goals."
