Sunderland attacker Jordan Cook hit a double for Carlisle United in victory at MK Dons.

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott hailed match-winner Cook, on loan from Sunderland.

Abbott said: "He's been really down with events at Sunderland. But he's come back to us, come off the bench and he's a hero.

"This is a platform for us to kick on and try and get the play-off spot we're chasing."
