Sunderland and Galatasaray retain interest in Man City defender Denayer

Sunderland and Galatasaray remain interested in securing the services of Manchester City defender Jason Denayer, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Denayer looks set to struggle to earn regular first team football at City this season following the big-money arrival of John Stones from Everton and reports have revealed that the Belgian international is currently available on loan.

In addition, it had been reported earlier this month that Sunderland and Galatasaray were interested in Denayer and now claims have been made that the duo have launched loan offers for the 21-year-old this week.

David Moyes has made no secret of his desire to bring a new centre-back to the Stadium of Light after allowing Younes Kaboul to join Watford while Turkish giants Galatasaray want Denayer to return to Istanbul after he impressed on loan last season.
