Sunderland admit Diouf and Chimbonda can leave

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has admitted that he will listen to offers for the out-of-favour pair Pascal Chimbonda and El Hadji Diouf. Both have featured as substitutes in recent weeks, though neither was on the bench for last weekend's game at Everton.

"There's nothing happening with either of them at present," said Sbragia today to The Newcastle Chronicle.

"I would like them to stay at the club as part of the squad but, of course, if anyone came in with a big bid, we would have to consider it.

"At Everton, I didn't think Dioufy was match-fit while Pascal has had several little knocks which have seen him miss two or three days training a week, and he really needs to train for a full week before we can think about playing him."
