The Black Cats were well on top in the first half with six clear chances as Blackpool tried to settle at a venue which only one side had triumphed during the 2010/11 season.

GOAL But things turned for the Tangerines five minutes into the second half when Neil Eardley sent a short corner into the area which was flicked on by Ian Evatt for Campbell to volley home from close range.

Sunderland's forwards were not on form as is evident by the 10 shots on target and a late Blackpool goal only compounded that misery.

GOAL Campbell added a second when he got on the end of a perfect Matt Phillips cross to give Ian Holloway his seventh win of the season.
