Manchester United have been beaten in the transfer market AGAIN - this time by Galatasaray in their deal for Bruma. The Sporting Lisbon whizkid signed for Gala yesterday and FIFA agent Marco Kirdemir admits United failed with a superior bid to the Turks'.
"Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Monaco, PSG and Real Madrid were all interested in Bruma. A number of clubs wanted to sign Bruma as a free agent, considering his disagreements with Sporting Lisbon regarding the contract," he told Turkish Football.
"But Galatasaray's conduct was not in an opportunistic manner and carried out negotiations through the club. Sporting won the case, which meant that Bruma could not leave on a free transfer and Galatasaray won for the way they conducted their business.
"As a result, Sporting's president turned down Manchester United's bid of 18 million and accepted a lower offer from Galatasaray."
