"When we went to Liverpool the other week we met their Americans and, culturally, they are on the same lines as us," he told the Birmingham Mail.

"With Mr Yeung and the Chinese, they are culturally different and do things a different way.

"They may prove us all wrong and turn the club into a massive success, spreading the Birmingham brand right across Asia, with all of China behind us.

"They may have a fantastic impact on the club but, to be honest, I don't know all the answers."
