The son of West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan admits a board member was spat at by a 'fan' on Saturday.
Dave Sullivan Junior, son of the club's co-chairman, urged fans to report any stewards felt to be falling below the standards expected.
Sullivan Junior tweeted: “We were being verbally abused by our fans whilst stewards stood and did nothing. One board member was even spat on by fans.
"The only way we can improved is by reporting the stewards to stadium ops. And that is exactly what we did yesterday."
