West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan has assured fans they will be active in the January market.
Although different names are being linked every single day, the club will not confirm until moves are official.
Sullivan told whufc.com: "We will bring in two or three players whatever happens and have had a few meetings already. As I say, watch this space but the squad and the players we have now have also shown that they are good enough.
"We can never sit still, though, and this goes for all areas of the club. We have to be mindful that you can only register 25 players and we already have a squad of 30 players."
