West Ham co-owner David Sullivan admits he's desperate to get new signings over the line.
West Ham have already made two additions in the market this month, agreeing an £8million deal for Southampton centre-back Jose Fonte and on Sunday bringing in England youth international Nathan Holland.
On the field Slaven Bilic's side have won their last two fixtures but are now out of action until February 1, when they face the Manchester City side who eliminated them from the FA Cup. Joint-chairman Sullivan hopes West Ham will have new players to choose from when Pep Guardiola returns to the London Stadium.
“We will all go in to that match buoyed by our last two performances and, I hope, with further new signings, which we hope to make between now and the end of the transfer window," Sullivan wrote on the club website.
“The market is challenging, but we are positive and will work around the clock to secure the right players to take us forward."
