Former Real Madrid star Davor Suker feels Carlo Ancelotti's team are better with Luka Modric in midfield.
The Croatia international has shone this season.
"Real plays better when Modric is on the pitch. He's happy with Real Madrid, but within his humility is looking to win titles. He's highly motivated, loves football and will not stop until he has won something big," Suker said.
"Luka plays at a high level, but that's no surprise. He is one of the leaders at Real, he commands a great area of the pitch, he knows how to both play in defence as well as in attack and creates some real danger."
