Luis Suarez has told Real Madrid he is happy at Liverpool.

Liverpool can at least rest assured that the saga over Suarez's future will not be revived in January.

Asked directly by Madrid-based newspaper Marca whether he would remain at Anfield for the rest of the season, he replied: "Yes, I am happy here and I will stay."
