Suarez says playing with Liverpool captain Gerrard a dream come true

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says it's a dream come true playing with skipper Steven Gerrard.

When the young Suarez was simulating the sport he loves through video games, it was the lad from Huyton who was regularly chosen.

The 26-year-old explained to liverpoolfc.com: "When I was a child, I saw him on TV and played with him on the PlayStation.

"Now I play with him. He helps in the dressing room and helps all the players - he is a great captain."

Earlier this week, the Reds skipper argued that Suarez is the finest player he has shared a dressing room with in 15 years at Anfield.

"It's unbelievable," he responded. "When Steven says something like that, it's unbelievable."
