Luis Suarez was back in action for Liverpool yesterday. The Daily Star says the 26-year-old star striker, who was the subject of two bids from Arsenal this summer, is currently serving a 10-game ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic.
And with just three games left to go before he's available for selection, boss Brendan Rodgers opted to put on a behind-closed-doors game with League OnePort Vale to get him in the best possible shape.
Suarez hasn't played since April but was on the mark in the 2-2 draw.
Former Premier League ref Mark Halsey took charge of the game and this morning described Suarez as "world class" in his attitude during the 90 minutes.
