Suarez: I joined Liverpool to win silverware

Luis Suarez says he joined Liverpool for games like their FA Cup semifinal against Everton.

Suarez feels he's up for the clash with their Merseyside neighbours.

He told The Sun: "I left Ajax to fight for trophies at a big club like Liverpool. Back in Uruguay and then in Holland I watched many FA Cup finals. They were always special and now I want to taste the same incredible experience.

"From the very first day I arrived on Merseyside I noticed the sensational rivalry with Everton. The fans live for our derby matches.

"Wembley is going to be a very intense occasion. There won't be too many chances and it could be the side that shows the most patience will reach the final.

"A game like this is what every professional wants. If I could, I'd give 150 per cent for Liverpool. We want to lift the trophy - it means we must beat Everton.

"I remember the joy and satisfaction of our success with Uruguay in the World Cup. Now I want to celebrate more cup success with two glorious Wembley wins."
