Luis Suarez believes Liverpool will sign Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa to replace him this week.

The Daily Star Sunday says the Merseysiders are poised to complete the signing of Atletico Madrid hotshot Costa after agreeing to his £21.7million release clause.

Atletico sources claim talks will take place between the two clubs in Madrid tomorrow with the deal all but done.

And that is music to the ears of Suarez who is desperate to quit Anfield this summer, with Arsenal favourites to land him.

Sources close to the Uruguay striker insisted last night: "Luis is convinced these are his last days in Liverpool."
