Former Liverpool forward Emile Heskey believes Luis Suarez holds the key to beating Manchester United on Sunday.

The Red Devils had to Anfield to take on Brendan Rodgers' underperforming Liverpool outfit but Heskey, who has just signed a deal with A-League club Newcastle Jets, says the Uruguayan can guide the Merseysiders to victory if on his game.

"It's difficult to go any other way than with Manchester United but with the likes of Luis Suarez, and fingers crossed he's on his game, Liverpool have got a good chance," he told talkSPORT.

"Over the years it's been shown that Liverpool can pick themselves up for the big games like Manchester United, Chelsea and those sort of games."
