Suarez calm about Liverpool's title hopes

Luis Suarez is not getting carried away with Liverpool's current standing in the Premier League.

The Reds sit second on the table, two points behind league leaders Arsenal, ahead of a very busy Christmas and New Year schedule.

Liverpool host Cardiff City on Saturday before tackling fourth-placed Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium and third-placed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge prompting Suarez to suggest that this is a testing time in the premiership pursuit of the Merseyside club.

"I think it's too early to say," said Suarez, who has already scored 17 goals this season.

"If we continue this level the next two or three weeks we can win the league or we can finish in the top four.

"It's important we concentrate and focus on the next game. We know that after Cardiff we have two very, very big games.

"That will be important to what comes next."
