Luis Suarez's attitude and mindset have not altered at all this summer according to managing director Ian Ayre.
The controversial striker is being heavily linked with a big-money move to Arsenal and questions about his loyalty to the Reds arose during the clubs pre-season tour of Australia and Asia because of poor on-field body language.
But Ayre made it clear to Sky Sports that the Uruguayan is completely committed to the Anfield cause.
"I don't think his demeanour has changed - he's been a professional throughout. It's just business as usual," he said.
"Luis was on the back end of tour with us. He joined us in Melbourne, and seeing the fantastic support and adulation, nobody will know more than Luis how much he's loved by this football club.
"I'm sure he's going to stay - that's always been our ambition and that's what we expect to achieve."
