Arsenal are chasing Stuttgart defender Timo Baumgartl.
BILD says the Gunners are keen to ferry the teen away from Stuttgart this month, with the defender still playing on an amateur deal.
For many inside Stuttgart, Baumgartl is a bigger talent at the same age as Antonio Rudiger, who has been linked with Manchester United and West Ham United this month.
"We must take care of our young players like Baumgartl and will in due course take the necessary measures," declared Stuttgart chief Robin Dutt.
Baumgartl's amateur deal runs to 2017.
