Stuttgart to increase wages of Liverpool target Kostic

VfB Stuttgart are set to reward Filip Kostic with an improved contact according to reports from Bild.

It is believed that Stuttgart are willing to pay the talented 23-year-old winger upwards of €37,000-per-week in a bid to ward off interested clubs.

Liverpool have been linked with the Serbian international while a host of Italian clubs are also believed to be keen.

But Stuttgart are intent on keeping the former FC Groningen wide man, who comes with a transfer fee of around €20million and is contracted until the summer of 2019, and will reportedly increase his wages to €150,000-a-month.

Kostic, who arrived at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in the summer of 2014, has scored three goals and provided four assists in 17 Bundesliga outings this season.
