VfB Stuttgart striker Pavel Pogrebnyak will not be making a move to the English Premiership this season.
The 27-year old Russian international is keen to remain in Stuttgart and help his side in their relegation fight, putting on hold a move to England, where Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool and Tottenham are all showing interest.
"A number of Premier League sides are interested in him. We've received a lot of offers. But Stuttgart don't want to let him leave," said agent Oleg Artemov.
"He will stay here until the end of the season. In summer we will make a decision about his future. There is no relegation release clause in the contract. When we signed it (from Zenit St Petersburg), I couldn't even imagine that Stuttgart will fight relegation battle."
