Pavel Pogrebnyak is looking to stay on at Fulham after his initial loan spells ends this summer.
The Russian international joined the Cottagers on a six-month loan from German club VfB Stuttgart at the end of January and has begun life in Southwest London in fine fashion with two goals in two Premier League appearances.
Pogrebnyak admits it was tough to make the move to England but now he is here, he is looking to make more of an impact for Fulham for the rest of the season and into the future.
"The move was very difficult. I had to think, first because I was relocating my family, and also because I was offered a contract only for six months. Now, of course, I have no regrets.
"I wanted to sign a long-term contract. The club wanted to see how I would adapt in the Premier League, because the German and English championships are very different. The management wanted to play safe.
"I think I can win something with Fulham. We have a chance to qualify for the Europa League, and in England there are many cups.""I can't complain, things have started very well," he told Russia's Sports Daily.
