Stuttgart have rejected a £1 million offer from Arsenal for 15 year-old goalkeeper Odesseas Vlachidimos.

The Daily Mail says the 15-year-old is already 6ft 3ins tall and is one of the most sought after talents in European football. Arsenal have jumped to the front of the queue after strong interest from Italy and other Premier League sides.

However, their £1m offer, which would entail a compensation fee plus an annual prospective salary has been rejected.

Stuttgart goalkeeper and former Arsenal star Jens Lehmann regards Vlachidimos highly and youngster, himself, is excited about the Gunners' interest.
