Marco Rojas will miss the beginning of the upcoming German Bundesliga campaign for VfB Stuttgart.
The 21-year old New Zealand winger, who joined the club from Melbourne Victory recently, has sustained a broken metatarsal in his right foot in a pre-season friendly with a local Select XI in Crailsheim.
Stuttgart team doctor Raymond Best told the Bundesliga's official website that Rojas will be sidelined for up to six weeks but can continue swimming, cycling and weight training to maintain fitness.
