German club Stuttgart have reportedly moved ahead of Liverpool in the chase for Marko Grujic.

Reports suggest that Stuttgart have lodged a £4million bid for the 19-year-old Red Star Belgrade midfielder which could clinch a deal for his services.

Liverpool have been linked with the Serbia U21 international for some time while Manchester United, Chelsea, Everton and Manchester City have also been credited with an interest.

However, Stuttgart's ability to offer him first team football immediately may be the tipping point for Grujic who is keen to play regularly at senior level in a bid to continue his rapid development.
