VfB Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger is expected in Italy today to complete his move to Roma.

A deal has been in place for some days, but Rudiger will be in Rome for a club medical.

The 22 year-old will join Roma for a total fee of €11 million, though he initially signs on-loan.

Roma will cough up €4 million for the initial 12 month loan, with the remaining €7 million due to turn the deal into an outright transfer.

Rudiger has also interested Arsenal and Chelsea this past 12 months.
