Liverpool striker Danny Sturridge is delighted with the praise coming his way from manager Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers has recently backed Sturridge to make himself one of the best players in the Premier League, comments that went down well with the 24-year-old Anfield ace.
He said: "It was good to hear. It's always good to hear positive things from your manager, especially.
"I'm working as hard as I possibly can and I want to improve as much as possible.
"I'm not resting on my laurels or thinking I'm complete because I know I'm not."
