Danny Sturridge hopes Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson will continue to allow him to play in the FA Youth Cup.
Sturridge struck twice for City in last week's victory over Bristol City - carrying on his goal scoring form from Eriksson's senior team.
Asked if he hoped to be allowed to face Plymouth in the next round, Sturridge told City's website: "Of course! I've played in the last two rounds, so hopefully I can in the next one and, being optimistic, if we get through the next round then it's the semis and who knows?
"But Plymouth will be a good side because they've made it to the quarter final."
