Daniel Sturridge is not getting carried away with his newfound form with loan club Bolton Wanderers.
The England U21 international, on loan from Chelsea, netted for the third time in just his third outing for the Trotters when they defeated Everton 2-0 at Reebok Stadium on Sunday.
But he is not about to get ahead of himself despite his brilliant start under Owen Coyle.
"I'm just delighted to be playing regular football, I'm enjoying my football here and now I'm looking forward to the next game," he told Sky Sports HD1.
"The manager's instilled a lot of confidence in me, he's told me to go out and play my normal game, to shoot, to dribble and just show everybody what I'm about."
Sturridge also spoke of another recent Bolton loanee, Arsenal's Jack Wilshere, who was at the match to watch the club regain eighth place on the league table.
"Jack's different class, I spoke to him today and he said it's a good club and to see him here today shows the affection he still has for the club. We're good friends and I'm glad he's doing so well," he added.
