Danny Sturridge is delighted with the Liverpool influence inside England's World Cup squad.
Sturridge has been impressed by the meteoric rise of team-mate Raheem Sterling.
He said: "Raheem is getting the opportunities to play week in, week out and is flourishing.
"For every young player it is important to play regularly. Raheem is a great, great guy. We have a lot of banter. I get on with him very well.
"I think it was easy for him because he has Steven Gerrard, the captain of his club, also playing for his country. And he has got Jordan Henderson and Glen Johnson on the same side as him.
"It probably feels like he is playing for Liverpool when he plays for England.
"The football he plays is exceptional and he knows he is only going to get better."
