Sturridge insists no tension with Liverpool; sends Champions League well wishes

Daniel Sturridge has hit back at claims he was feuding with Liverpool.

The Englishman spent the second half of this season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, but injuries once again hampered his playing time.

Reports broke last week that stated the 28-year-old had fallen out with his parent club. However, Sturridge has taken to social media to clear up any ambiguity.

Sturridge tweeted: "Spoke to the boss and Michael Edwards over the couple of days and wished them good luck for the final. Wished my team mates good luck after the semis and this week."
