West Ham United are seen as the favourites to land Nice striker Mario Balotelli if he leaves Nice in the summer.

Balotelli has gone through a career renaissance in France, scoring 39 goals in 59 games for the French Ligue 1 team.

But now it appears that he may be moving on. His contract is up, and he may want a bigger financial contract as he is now 27. The Premier League is his best chance of securing that.

Balotelli would be a gamble, as he hardly set the Premier League alight at Manchester City. But he appears a more polished and mature player now.
